Registration that finance actually approves

Workshop add-ons and delegate details collected at checkout, badges printed as one PDF batch, certificates issued on check-in, and invoices that survive an expense report.

In short

How does TixFin work for conferences?

A conference sells to people who have to expense the ticket and arrive with a badge. TixFin collects what you need at the point of sale through buyer questions configured per ticket type — text, textarea, select, checkbox and file fields, validated server-side and stored per individual ticket. The ticket designer produces name badges in A4, A5 or 10×10 cm with a complete PDF batch export, attendance certificates are generated on check-in or sent manually, and every order produces an invoice with ZUGFeRD 2.x XML and a DATEV-oriented CSV export.

  • Buyer questions per ticket type, validated at purchase
  • Badge batch export in A4, A5 and 10×10 cm
  • ZUGFeRD invoices with DATEV CSV export

Challenges

What business events run into

  • The data arrives too late

Company, job title and dietary requirements chased by email after the sale is a week of admin nobody planned for.

  • Badges are printed the night before

Hundreds of name badges, produced one by one, from a list that changed twice that afternoon.

  • Procurement has requirements

A delegate cannot expense a ticket without a complete invoice — VAT ID, address, correct tax treatment.

Capabilities

What you get for a conference

  • 01

    Buyer questions

Configure text, textarea, select, checkbox and file fields per ticket type; required answers are validated at purchase and stored per ticket.

  • 02

    Workshop add-ons

Sell sessions, workshops and catering next to the ticket, or bundle them, with rule-driven upsells in the cart.

  • 03

    Badge printing

A badge mode in the ticket designer covers A4, A5 and 10×10 cm with name, company, ticket type, event, date, QR code and logo, plus a batch PDF export across all issued tickets.

  • 04

    Attendance certificates

A separate certificate layout per ticket type, generated automatically on check-in or sent manually, rendered server-side to PDF and downloadable by the attendee.

  • 05

    Compliant invoicing

ZUGFeRD 2.x XML per invoice, a DATEV-oriented CSV export, reverse charge under § 13b UStG and configurable account mapping.

  • 06

    Answers at the door

Buyer questions marked scanner-visible appear with the scan result, which is what makes dietary or accreditation checks workable at registration.

Workflow

Running the registration

  1. 01

    Define ticket types

Create delegate, speaker and day-pass types, and attach the workshop add-ons each one can buy.

  2. 02

    Add buyer questions

Configure the fields you need — company, job title, dietary requirements — and mark which are visible in the scanner.

  3. 03

    Design the badge

Lay out the badge in the ticket designer, then export the complete PDF batch before doors open.

  4. 04

    Certify and invoice

Issue attendance certificates on check-in and export ZUGFeRD XML or DATEV CSV for finance.

Delegate data

Everything the badge needs, collected at checkout

Answers are stored per individual ticket, shown in the buyer's ticket detail view, surfaced in the staff scanner where marked visible, and included as dynamic columns in the admin CSV export. The badge designer then reads the same record.
