Memberships

Season passes that remind members to renew

Mark a ticket type as a membership and it gains a duration, a grace period, renewal reminders, lifetime tiers and a member number — without a second system.

In short

How do memberships work?

Ticket types can be marked as memberships to model recurring access over a defined period — the natural fit for clubs, cultural subscriptions, season passes and returning-visitor cycles. A membership carries a configurable duration in months from the purchase date, an optional grace period during which it can still be reactivated after expiry, and automatic renewal reminders before it lapses. Members receive a unique member number, and status is tracked as Active, Expired or Cancelled with a full history.

  • Configurable duration in months from purchase

  • Grace period, renewal reminders and manual renewal

  • Lifetime tiers with escalating benefits

Capabilities

Recurring access, properly modelled

  • 01

    Membership ticket types

A ticket type flagged as a membership models recurring access over a defined period, using the same inventory model as every other ticket.

  • 02

    Duration and grace period

Validity is configured in months from the purchase date, with an optional grace period in which an expired membership can still be reactivated.

  • 03

    Renewal and reminders

Renewal reminders go out automatically 30 days and 7 days before expiry and on the day itself, and memberships are renewed from the dashboard.

  • 04

    Lifetime tiers

Several levels inside one membership system, with escalating benefits per tier and a member number as a unique identifier.

  • 05

    Status tracking

Active, Expired and Cancelled with full history, a documented renewal history, a structured cancellation flow capturing the reason, and JSON metadata per membership.

  • 06

    Member benefits

Memberships can be linked to specific events to grant automatic admission, and renewals are handled manually from the dashboard.

How it works

Setting up memberships

  1. 01

    Flag the ticket type

Mark a ticket type as a membership so it models recurring access instead of a single admission.

  2. 02

    Configure the term

Set the duration in months and an optional grace period; renewal reminders follow automatically.

  3. 03

    Define tiers and benefits

Add lifetime tiers with escalating benefits and link the membership to the events it grants access to.

  4. 04

    Sell and renew

Members buy like any other ticket; renewals are recorded from the dashboard.

Memberships

Reminders before a membership lapses

A membership does not have to expire because someone forgot to renew. Reminders go out 30 days and 7 days before expiry and on the day itself, renewal happens from the dashboard — and every renewal is documented in the history.

FAQ

Membership questions

Ask the team
  • No. A membership is a ticket type flagged as such, so it uses the same inventory, checkout and reporting as every other ticket while adding duration, renewal and tier behaviour.
  • An optional grace period lets the membership still be reactivated after expiry. Renewal reminders are sent before that point — 30 days and 7 days ahead and on the day of expiry.
  • Renewals are recorded from the dashboard, and every renewal is documented in the membership's history. Automatic reminders make sure members hear about it before the membership lapses.
  • Memberships can be linked to specific events and grant automatic admission to them, on top of the tier benefits configured for the member's level.
